Today he is four.

Yesterday, you were my little bughead bughead.
Today, you are a big boy. My Oliver.
Yesterday, you loved sweet potatoes and bananas.
Today, you love Olive Garden.
Yesterday, I would rock to sleep for your naps in the blue rocker.
Today, you scream when I even mention the words nappy naps.
Yesterday, I would take you for walks in the stroller or snugli.
Today, you strap on your Thomas helmet and take off on your bike.
Yesterday, I would change your stinky poops.
Today, you go potty in the big boy potty all by yourself.
Yesterday, I would watch you scribble drawings for me.
Today, you can write your own name (and others!) from memory!
Yesterday, I couldn't imagine a day without you by my side.
Today, I can't imagine a day without you by my side, but you will be going to school in only a few months.

You are growing so fast. You are amazingly brilliant! (completely unbiased.) You make me laugh and I cry sometimes just because I love you so much. Thank you for being my son. Thank you for being my Oliver.

I love you.
